(2) Such degenerative disc disease in the neck also has been found to be accompanied by inflammation, particularly inflammatory cytokines that trigger mechanoreceptors like the Ruffini corpuscles in degenerated discs resulting in dizziness. The good news: a majority of cervical spine disc disease patients and associated dizziness find conservative treatment to be effective for them.
